Bis(methylenedithio)tetrathiafulvalene is a molecule that has an electron-rich dithiol group and a tetrathiafulvalene group. These two parts interact with each other in the crystal, which is observed by x-ray crystallography. The molecule can be found in the crystal system C2/c, which is a monoclinic crystal system with space group P2/c1. This molecule has been studied using magnetic and electrochemical methods. The x-ray diffraction study of this molecule revealed that it has a spin resonance transfer from the methylene to the thiomethyl groups, and that it accepts electrons from its surroundings.
