Descrizione:
5-Bromo-2-fluoroanisole is an estrogen receptor agonist that belongs to the group of nonsteroidal estrogens. It has been shown to inhibit the production of laminin, a glycoprotein found in the basement membrane. 5-Bromo-2-fluoroanisole also has a potentiating effect on the production of lamellarin and aziridines, which are metabolites produced by certain fungi. The target enzyme for this drug is dehydrogenase. 5-Bromo-2-fluoroanisole has been shown to be effective against breast cancer cells by inhibiting their growth and inducing apoptosis. The drug also exhibits antiestrogenic activities and inhibits the uptake of estradiol by breast cancer cells.
