Informazioni sul prodotto
2,6-Bis(trifluoromethyl)pyridine is a chemical compound that is used as a dopant in the fabrication of devices such as solar cells. This compound is also used to study ligand-metal transmetallation reactions. 2,6-Bis(trifluoromethyl)pyridine has been shown to react with halides and x-ray crystallography can be used to determine its crystal structure. 2,6-Bis(trifluoromethyl)pyridine is activated by light and fluoresces brightly when excited by an external energy source. The quantum efficiency of this compound is low under normal conditions but can be increased by increasing the temperature. Additionally, this compound can emit photons at high energies as it cools down from its excited state.
