Informazioni sul prodotto
- 4-Bromo-2-fluorophenylboronic acid
4-Bromo-2-fluorobenzeneboronic acid is a boronic acid that can be used in the chemical modification of drug molecules. It is reactive and has been used with phenols to create boronic ester compounds. The use of 4-bromo-2-fluorobenzeneboronic acid in cross coupling reactions has led to the synthesis of modular, functionalised molecules. This compound has been used in the Suzuki reaction, which is an organic reaction that forms carbon-carbon bonds by using a metal catalyst, such as palladium or nickel. This reaction also uses a boronate ester as a co-catalyst, which is prepared from 4-bromo-2-fluorobenzeneboronic acid and the corresponding alcohol. In this way, iterative reactions have been possible with 4-bromo-2-fluorobenzeneboronic acid.
