Descrizione:
Thiabendazole is a triazine fungicide that inhibits the growth of fungi by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, which is an important component of fungal cell membranes. Thiabendazole has been shown to be effective against macroalgae and other aquatic organisms, and can be used for weed control in freshwater ecosystems. Thiabendazole has been shown to have toxic effects on thalassiosira at high concentrations, but not at low concentrations.
