4-Chloro-3-nitrobenzene sulfonic acid sodium salt is a diamine that is used in the laboratory for amination reactions. It reacts with a variety of aryl halides, including 4-chloro-2-nitrobenzene sulfonic acid sodium salt, to form amines and sulfonic acids. The reaction is carried out at temperatures between 0°C and 100°C in the presence of catalysts such as potassium carbonate or potassium bicarbonate.
