Informazioni sul prodotto
2-Cyanophenyl isocyanate is an amine that can be used as a bifunctional reagent for the synthesis of chlorides. It is a reactive agent that reacts with thionyl chloride to produce an active methylene group and a carbonyl group. This compound has been shown to have antibacterial activity against Bacillus cereus, Escherichia coli, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The chemical reaction in which 2-cyanophenyl isocyanate participates produces a strong magnetic resonance signal when it interacts with phosphorus pentachloride, which may be due to its high electron density or the presence of two nitrogens in the molecule.
2-Cyanophenyl isocyanate has also been shown to be efficient as a pesticide because of its ability to inhibit the growth of bacteria and fungi.
