3-(2-Chloro-3,3,3-trifluoro-1-propenyl)-2,2-dimethylcyclopropanecarboxylic Acid is an insecticide that belongs to the class of pyrethroids. It is used in the treatment of head lice and in agricultural applications to control pests such as mosquitoes and ticks. The compound is a racemic mixture of two enantiomers with different chemical and physical properties. 3-(2-Chloro-3,3,3-trifluoro-1-propenyl)-2,2-dimethylcyclopropanecarboxylic Acid is used as an extractant for industrial chemicals such as chloride or phosphoric acid solution.
