CK 1827452O is a small-molecule drug that increases the glomerular filtration rate (GFR) by inhibiting the Na+,K+-ATPase. CK 1827452O has been shown to be effective in treating congestive heart failure, which may be due to its ability to increase cardiac output and reduce left ventricular end-diastolic pressure. CK 1827452O also acts on the cytosolic calcium concentration and systolic pressure, as well as natriuretic and inotropic drugs. These effects are due to its inhibition of Na+,K+-ATPase, which leads to an increase in intracellular calcium and an increase in cAMP levels.
