Informazioni sul prodotto
4-[2-[(2-Chloro-4-fluorophenyl)amino]-5-methyl-4-pyrimidinyl]-N-[(1S)-1-(3-chlorophenyl)-2-hydroxyethyl]-1H-pyrrole-2-carboxamide (AZD2171) is a small molecule that inhibits the production of angiogenic factors by binding to the enzyme phosphatase and tensin homologue on chromosome 10 (PTEN). This inhibition leads to cellular transformation, which prevents cancer cells from multiplying. AZD2171 has also been shown to inhibit the activity of enzyme inhibitors, such as histone deacetylase 3 (HDAC3), which are involved in the regulation of cell growth and differentiation. This inhibitor has been shown to induce pluripotent stem cells, which may be useful for future regenerative medicine applications.
