L-Cysteine HCl monohydrate is an amino acid that reacts with sodium citrate to form a reaction solution. This reaction solution is used in the treatment of bone cancer and has been shown to have clinical properties. L-Cysteine HCl monohydrate binds to the neurokinin-1 receptor, inhibiting the release of substance P, which inhibits tumor cell proliferation by blocking the signal transduction pathway.
