Informazioni sul prodotto
- 4-Chloro-1,3-thiazole
- Thiazole, 4-Chloro-
4-Chlorothiazole is an isomer of thiazole that has a bathochromic shift in its absorption spectrum. The active methylene group in the molecule is susceptible to nucleophilic attack and can be easily substituted by a chlorine atom. 4-Chlorothiazole has been shown to be capable of catalysis, with kinetic data available for reactions with cellulose acetate and nitrobenzene. This compound also has the ability to formylate formaldehyde, which makes it an excellent acceptor for substitution reactions.
