Informazioni sul prodotto
- 2-Chloro-5-nitro-1,3-benzothiazole
- benzothiazole, 2-chloro-5-nitro-
2-Chloro-5-nitrobenzo[d]thiazole is an isomer of the sulfonamides, which are compounds that contain a sulfonyl group. 2-Chloro-5-nitrobenzo[d]thiazole can be synthesized by reacting 2-chloro-5 nitrobenzoic acid with thiophosgene in the presence of a base to form the corresponding sulfonyl chloride. This compound can also be synthesized by reacting sodium dithiocarbonate with chlorine and nitric acid in the presence of sulfur dioxide. It has been found that 2-chloro-5 nitrobenzo[d]thiazole has high yields when it is synthesized from these reactions, and it is also photochemically active.
