Informazioni sul prodotto
- 5-Chloro-3-Methyl-1H-Pyrazole
- 3-chloro-5-methyl-1H-pyrazole
3-Chloro-5-methyl-1H-pyrazole is a pyrazole derivative that has been shown to have antiviral activity against tobacco mosaic virus. The compound binds to the viral nucleotide and inhibits its synthesis, leading to cell death. Bioassay results showed that 3-chloro-5-methyl-1H-pyrazole is able to inhibit the growth of influenza virus in cell culture. Docking studies showed that 3CMP binds to the viral RNA polymerase at a site distinct from the binding site of other pyrazoles, suggesting that it may be more effective than previously studied pyrazoles. Magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) studies revealed that 3CMP interacts with nucleotides in a way similar to other drugs used as anti-influenza agents. Optimized molecular dynamics simulations show that 3CMP possesses properties favorable for use as an antiviral agent.
