Descrizione:
3-(6-Chloropyridazin-3-yl)benzoic acid is a potent inhibitor of the enzyme acetylcholinesterase. It binds to the active site of the enzyme and interacts with the amino acid residues within this site, preventing it from breaking down the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. 3-(6-Chloropyridazin-3-yl)benzoic acid has been shown to be selective for acetylcholinesterase and does not inhibit other enzymes in the body, such as monoamine oxidase or butyrylcholinesterase. Furthermore, 3-(6-chloropyridazin-3-yl)benzoic acid has been shown to have a higher inhibition efficiency than other inhibitors in spectroscopic studies.
