Descrizione

Cadralazine is a drug that belongs to the group of pharmacological agents. It is used for the treatment of chronic renal failure, pulmonary hypertension, and heart failure. Cadralazine has been shown to have long-term efficacy in the treatment of chronic renal failure and pulmonary hypertension. Cadralazine also inhibits cellular calcium accumulation by interfering with the conversion of citrate to pergolide mesylate or isepamicin sulfate. This inhibition may be responsible for its therapeutic effects on infectious diseases, metabolic disorders, and cardiac problems in geriatric patients. Cadralazine has pharmacokinetic properties that allow it to cross the blood-brain barrier more easily than other drugs in its class.
