Descrizione

Ceftibuten-13C3 is an experimental antibiotic that can be administered orally. It binds to the penicillin-binding protein (PBP) in the cell wall of Streptococcus, preventing bacterial growth. Ceftibuten-13C3 has been shown to have antimicrobial activity against a number of bacteria and is not susceptible to beta-lactamase enzymes. This drug has also been shown to inhibit IL-2 receptor binding and is not expected to cause adverse reactions with other drugs.
