Informazioni sul prodotto
Captopril EP Impurity E is a synthetic drug that belongs to the class of immunosuppressants. It functions by inhibiting the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines and chemokines, thereby decreasing the production of inflammatory mediators. Captopril EP Impurity E also inhibits cyclooxygenase and lipoxygenase, which are enzymes involved in the biosynthesis of prostaglandins and leukotrienes from arachidonic acid. Didemnin is a phenolic compound found in plants that has been shown to have immunomodulatory effects similar to those of Captopril EP Impurity E. The stereoselective synthesis of this impurity was achieved through a combination of an aplidine-based method with a phenylpyruvic method.
