Descrizione

Carbazochrome sodium sulfonate (CS) is a fluorescent derivative of carbazochrome that has been used in the chemiluminescence method. It is a fluorescent compound and can be used as a tracer to measure the rate of glucose injection into the blood. CS is also used in synchronous fluorescence to study energy metabolism in reaction solutions. A matrix effect on locomotor activity was seen when CS was injected into human serum, which may be due to its metal chelating properties.
