P-(2-Chloro)ethyl anisole is a primary alcohol that is used as a linker. It also has the ability to inhibit the polymerization of atrial monomers. P-(2-Chloro)ethyl anisole can be used in the synthesis of various polymers, such as polyurethanes and polyesters, by reacting with a wide range of chlorides. It is also used to prepare azide-chlorine compounds for use as blockers in organic syntheses. This compound can be used at temperatures up to 200°C and reacts with azides and halides to form phosphoryl groups.
