Informazioni sul prodotto
Cathepsin Inhibitor II is a tetrapeptide that inhibits the activity of cathepsins and other serine proteases. It is used in skin care products to reduce inflammation and promote wound healing. Cathepsin Inhibitor II has been shown to inhibit chemotaxis, the movement of white blood cells towards sites of infection or injury, by preventing the release of chemokines such as MIP-2 from endothelial cells. Cathepsin Inhibitor II also reduces cellular proliferation in endothelial cells, which may be due to its ability to modulate α2-adrenergic receptor signaling.
