Descrizione

Corey lactone aldehyde benzoate is an analog of the natural product mycophenolic acid. It is used to treat dysmenorrhea and other conditions that are related to uterine cramps, such as endometriosis. This drug binds to the receptor-mediated hexanoic acid site on the GABA receptor, an inhibitory neurotransmitter in the central nervous system. Corey lactone aldehyde benzoate has been shown to be effective in animal models against influenza and rhodiola, but not against influenza type B.
