Informazioni sul prodotto
- Benzene, 1-Chloro-5-Fluoro-2-Methyl-4-Nitro-
2-Chloro-4-fluoro-5-nitrotoluene (2,4,5-TNT) is a high explosive with a condition of stability. It is soluble in water and has a reaction time of 4 hours. 2,4,5-TNT can be produced by reacting 1,3,5-trinitrobenzene with sodium nitrite and hydrochloric acid. The starting material is not sensitive to air or light and can be stored for up to eight months without losing its properties. The high pressure required for the synthesis of 2,4,5-TNT is generated by heating the reactants to 80 degrees Celsius at atmospheric pressure. This compound reacts with rhodium catalysts at room temperature to form an organic chloride that can be reduced to 2,4,5-TNT dihydrochloride in two steps.
