Cyclooctylamine is an inorganic acid that is used as a building block for organic synthesis. It has been found to be an analog of ethylene diamine, which can lead to metabolic disorders. Cyclooctylamine binds to amines and hydroxyl groups and transports them at a rate of about 1.5-2 times faster than methyl ethyl. Cyclooctylamine has been found to inhibit the growth of infectious diseases such as viruses and bacteria. Cyclooctylamine also has been shown to have receptor activity on human erythrocytes, which can lead to antibody response in humans.
