Descrizione:
2-Chloro-5-formylthiazole is a pyridine derivative that is used as an insecticide. It has been shown to inhibit the acetylcholine receptor in lepidoptera and nicotinic acetylcholine receptor in humans. 2-Chloro-5-formylthiazole has also been found to prevent the synthesis of histones, leading to decreased expression of acetylated histones and gene transcription. This substance can be used for profiling and optimization of pesticides.
