N-(Chloroacetyl)-3-Fluoroaniline is a cinnamic acid derivative that has shown potent antibacterial activity against Gram-positive bacteria and some Gram-negative bacteria. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in vitro, with an IC50 of 2.5 μM. N-(Chloroacetyl)-3-Fluoroaniline is also an activin receptor antagonist that has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) cells and to reduce the incidence of CML in mice. This agent also inhibits the expression of d1 protein, which is implicated in carcinogenesis and tumor progression.
