Copper 2-(3-Fluoro-4-Phenylphenyl)Propanoate is a copper compound that inhibits the transfer of electrons from one molecule to another. It has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on inflammation and analgesic activity in animals. Copper 2-(3-Fluoro-4-Phenylphenyl)Propanoate is also used for screening for potential new analgesics. The activity of this drug is related to its ability to form a copper complex with the copper ion and the chemical properties of its ligands, which are phenolic and aromatic moieties. The kinetic studies show that it has a high affinity for copper ions and a fast rate of association and dissociation with copper ions. In addition, there are no significant effects on the analgesic activity when administered at low doses (1 mg/kg).
