Descrizione

2-(2,3-Dimethylphenoxy)propanoic acid is an inhibitor that binds to the human leukemia HL-60 cells and inhibits their growth. It has been shown to be more potent than other inhibitors in this group and also inhibits the growth of human leukemia HL-60 cells at low concentrations. This analog is also more stable than other analogues and can inhibit the activity of HL-60 cells even in the presence of chlorides or acids. 2-(2,3-Dimethylphenoxy)propanoic acid has a strong inhibitory effect on leukemia HL-60 cells, which may be due to its ability to inhibit protein synthesis by binding to ribosomes and interfering with RNA synthesis.
