Descrizione:
4-(2,5-Dimethylphenyl)-5-methyl-1,3-thiazol-2-amine is an analgesic drug that belongs to the class of bitartrates. It is used in the treatment of depression and as a local anaesthetic to provide pain relief during epidural anesthesia. 4-(2,5-Dimethylphenyl)-5-methyl-1,3-thiazol-2-amine is also used as a vasodilator in vascular surgery procedures before or after excision of aneurysms or other vascular lesions. The drug has been shown to have a hydrophobic nature with low solubility in water and as such is not suitable for intravenous administration. This agent is typically administered orally either as solid oral dosage form or as an oral solution.
