N-Dodecylaniline is a dodecyl cationic surfactant that is used as a precursor for the production of other chemicals. The high melting point of this chemical makes it suitable for use in ferroelectric and polycarboxylic acid applications. N-Dodecylaniline may also be used to generate alkoxy radicals, microparticles, viscosity, and hydrogen bonds. This chemical reacts with hydrochloric acid, trifluoromethanesulfonic acid, or sulphonate to produce reaction products. N-Dodecylaniline can also react with homologous compounds to produce particles or viscosity.
