- Dapiprazole hydrochloride
Dapiprazole hydrochloride is a 5-HT2 receptor antagonist that has been shown to be effective in the treatment of mydriasis and choroidal neovascularization. Dapiprazole hydrochloride is used to diagnose ocular conditions by measuring the diameter of the pupil using fluorescein angiography. The drug has also been shown to be effective in reducing myopia progression and in treating congestive heart failure. It has been shown that dapiprazole hydrochloride can reduce acetylcholine release, which in turn reduces the production of fatty acids. Chemical structures of this drug have not yet been determined.
