Informazioni sul prodotto
- 3-(3,5-Dichlorophenyl)-1-methyl-2,4-imidazolidinedione
- 3-(3,5-Dichlorophenyl)-1-Methylimidazolidine-2,4-Dione
Thiazolidinedione is a class of drugs that are used to treat type 2 diabetes. They work by increasing the sensitivity of insulin receptor. Thiazolidinedione has been shown to cause centrilobular necrosis in rats, which may be due to its ability to damage the kidney through proteinuria and cyclic AMP-dependent mechanisms. Pioglitazone is a thiazolidinedione that has been shown to reduce serum alanine levels and increase blood urea nitrogen levels in diabetic patients, as well as causing kidney damage with increased serum urea nitrogen levels.
