Informazioni sul prodotto
1,4-Dinitroimidazole is a nitro compound that reacts with sodium nitrate to form a nitroimidazole. The reaction mechanism is thought to involve nucleophilic attack of the lysine residue on the nitro group of 1,4-dinitroimidazole. This reaction occurs more readily at higher temperatures and produces an activation energy of 10.6 kcal/mol. Activation energies for this reaction are typically around 10 kcal/mol, so the activation energy for 1,4-dinitroimidazole is much higher than typical.
