Diglycidyl4,5-epoxycyclohexane-1,2-dicarboxylate (DGEPC) is a cycloaliphatic epoxy compound that is used as a coating for metal plates. The main application of DGEPC is in the production of printed circuit boards. DGEPC has been shown to have high thermal stability and light resistance and low reactivity with water. It does not contain any chlorine or bromine atoms, which makes it an environmentally friendly product. DGEPC can be recycled up to five times before it becomes unusable.
