N,N'-Diisopropyl-O-methylisourea is a natural product that regulates the activation of enzymes. It is derived from a homologous compound and has been shown to activate enzymes by binding to amines on the enzyme's active site. This process leads to increased gene transcription and amine metabolism. N,N'-Diisopropyl-O-methylisourea has also been shown to regulate diisocyanates such as polyurethane foams and its function in plant physiology is still not well understood.
