Informazioni sul prodotto
2,4-Diiodooxazole is a functional group that is used in the synthesis of organic compounds. This group is created by cross-coupling aryl boronic acids with 2 equivalents of an alkyl or aryl halide, followed by hydrolysis of the ester to give the desired product. The regioselectivity of this reaction depends on the type and concentration of base used. This functional group can be found in natural products such as 1-hydroxy-4,5-dihydrobenzimidazole and 2,6-dichloroquinoline. It also has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties in animal models.
