Informazioni sul prodotto
3,4-Dibromothiophene-2-carboxaldehyde is an organic chemical compound with the molecular formula CHBrO. It is a reactive intermediate that can be used in the synthesis of azomethine dyes and phenylaziridine derivatives. 3,4-Dibromothiophene-2-carboxaldehyde undergoes ring opening to form aziridines and hydrazones. The oxidative addition of this chemical yields disulfides and sulfones. 3,4-Dibromothiophene-2-carboxaldehyde can also be used to synthesize aryl halides by reacting with iodides or chloroformates. The addition of palladium catalysts allows for the formation of amines from this chemical. This reaction is mediated by refluxing toluene in an inert solvent such as benzene or diethyl ether.
