Descrizione:
N,N-Diethyl-1-naphthamide is a cytotoxic agent that inhibits the growth of cancer cells in vitro and in vivo. It has been shown to be effective against resistant cancer cells that have lost their sensitivity to other anticancer agents. This compound is a potent inhibitor of the enzyme acetylcholinesterase, which leads to accumulation of acetylcholine at synapses, resulting in paralysis and death. N,N-Diethyl-1-naphthamide also has a strong effect on the conformational properties of the carbonyl group and can be used as a kinetic energy enhancer. In addition, it has been shown to enhance the cytotoxic effects of 3-methylcholanthrene and diacid.
