Descrizione

6a,3'-p-Dihydroxy paclitaxel is a molecule that has anticancer activity. It binds to the tumor cell membrane and inhibits the protein-mediated efflux of paclitaxel out of the cell. 6a,3'-P-Dihydroxy paclitaxel has been shown to be effective against human ovarian carcinoma cells in vitro and in vivo. This drug also has anti-inflammatory properties and may be useful for treating arthritis.
