Descrizione

Di-n-octyl sulfide is an extractant that is used for the removal of sulfur from hydrocarbons. The extractant is typically used in petroleum refineries and chemical plants to remove hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and sulfur compounds from gases, liquids, and solids. Di-n-octyl sulfide has been shown to be more efficient than other extractants at removing sulfur from hydrocarbon mixtures containing high concentrations of hydrogen peroxide. This product can be used as a diluent or as a desulfurization agent. It can also be used to remove sulfur compounds from diesel fuel, gasoline, and crude oil.
