Informazioni sul prodotto
- Pyridine, 2,6-dichloro-4-iodo-
2,6-Dichloro-4-iodopyrimidine is a small molecule with potent anticancer activity. It is one of two compounds that were identified as potential treatments for ceralasertib-resistant pancreatic cancer cells. 2,6-Dichloro-4-iodopyrimidine inhibits the kinase activity of the protein Csk in an ATP competitive manner. This inhibitor has been synthesized by a stepwise process involving nucleophilic substitution and coupling reactions to form 2,6-dichloropyrimidine from 2,4,5-trichloropyrimidine and iodide ion. The product was then reacted with dichloromethyl chloroformate to yield 2,6-dichloro-4-iodopyrimidine following a nucleophilic substitution reaction. Other analogs have been prepared in order to alter the potency or selectivity of this compound for other targets such as tyrosine kinases and protein
