Dichloroisocyanuric acid, sodium salt is a disinfectant with broad-spectrum activity that is used in the laboratory and industrial setting. It is usually applied as an inorganic acid or anhydrous sodium salt in aqueous solution. The chemical stability of dichloroisocyanuric acid allows it to be used as a substrate molecule and reaction mechanism for other compounds.
