Descrizione:
3,6-Diaminopyridazine is a synthetic compound that has been shown to have affinity for the amyloid beta protein in Alzheimer's disease. It has been synthesized and crystallized as single crystals, and its diffraction patterns were taken by X-ray diffraction methods. Single crystal x-ray diffraction (SCXRD) revealed that 3,6-diaminopyridazine forms an octahedral complex with the amyloid beta protein. This complex is stabilized through hydrogen bonding interactions between the amyloid beta protein and 3,6-diaminopyridazine. SCXRD also showed that 3,6-diaminopyridazine has a vapor pressure of 1 mmHg at 25 degrees Celsius.
