Diethyl phosphoramidate is a chemical compound used as an intermediate in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals. It is used in clinical trials for the treatment of haematopoietic stem cells. Diethyl phosphoramidate can be synthesized by reacting diethyl aminomalonate with phosphorus trichloride and iso-chlorobenzene, followed by hydrolysis. The asymmetric synthesis of diethyl phosphoramidate can be achieved using a homogeneous assay, which involves the addition of hydroxide ion to the reaction mixture. This reaction leads to nucleophilic attack on one carbon atom in the molecule and results in two products. Diethyl phosphoramidate has been shown to have high purity and yield, as well as good analytical properties such as magnetic resonance spectroscopy and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). Diethyl phosphoramidate has also been shown to be efficient at converting electrical
