Dimethylsiletidine is a reactive chemical that has two reactive functional groups: a hydroxyl group and a methyl group. These groups allow Dimethylsiletidine to participate in many different reactions, including hydrogen chloride-induced reactions and uv absorption. Dimethylsiletidine can react with other chemicals to form reaction products. It also reacts with hydrogen chloride to form the compound dimethylselenide. Dimethylsiletidine is a biochemical precursor for the production of Covid-19, which is used for prevention of pandemic influenza. The molecule has geometric isomers that are not chiral and have an equal chance of occurring as either (+) or (-) forms.
