Informazioni sul prodotto
4-(di(1H-indol-3-yl)methyl)phenol is a potential anticancer agent that inhibits cancer cell growth by interfering with the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). It has been shown to bind to EGFR and activate it, which stimulates the response elements in the DNA. This activates the transcription of genes involved in cellular proliferation and survival. 4-(di(1H-indol-3-yl)methyl)phenol also binds to survivin, which is an inhibitor molecule, and prevents its production.
