Descrizione

4',5'-Didehydro-5'-Deoxy-5'-Fluoroadenosine (4,5DDFA) is a potent anti-infective agent that inhibits the growth of bacteria by inhibiting the synthesis of adenosine triphosphate (ATP). 4,5DDFA interacts with the adenosine receptor, preventing the formation of ATP. This drug also has been shown to have an antiproliferative effect on cancer cells and endothelial cells. 4,5DDFA has been shown to inhibit viral replication and also blocks the transport of compounds across mammalian cell membranes.
