This drug has low oral bioavailability, but high potency and low dosage. 10,11-Dihydroxy-N-(N-3-Fluoropropyl)Norapomorphine is used as an antidepressant and antipsychotic agent. It is also used for the treatment of Parkinson's disease and other diseases that are caused by degeneration of dopaminergic neurons or decreased levels of dopamine. 10,11-Dihydroxy-N-(N-3-Fluoropropyl)Norapomorphine can be labeled with a radiolabeled tracer for imaging purposes.
