Descrizione

Dimethyl 4-nitro-3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl phosphate is a preservative that inhibits the growth of bacteria and fungi. It has been shown to be effective in reducing zinc chloride, zinc sulfate, sulfate, and sulfide in the environment. Dimethyl 4-nitro-3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl phosphate has also been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties, which may be due to its inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis. This compound is insoluble in water but soluble in organic solvents. The melting point for this compound is between 44°C and 46°C.
