Descrizione

The compound 3E)-4-ethoxy-1,1,1-trifluoro-3-buten-2-one is a phosphite that can be synthesized by the reaction of carbonic acid and borohydride reduction. The yield for this reaction is very high and the carbonyl group in this compound makes it an attractive candidate for organic synthesis. The fluorine atom in the molecule makes it an excellent candidate for molecular modeling and inorganic acid catalysis. This hydrolysis method is efficient and easy to perform. It is also possible to introduce the desired groups into the molecule during this process. The use of acidic hydrolysis as a catalyst will make this process even more efficient.
